I am having foot surgery next week to remove a pinched nerve in my foot. Doctor mentioned to me that I will have an IV that will make me feel like I’m in “lala land”. I was wondering what kind of anesthesia this sounds like and what I will probably feel like during and after the surgery. I’m scared bc sometimes I hear in the news about people dying from simple surgeries (hernia, cosmetic surgeries) from the anesthesia.
